About Us

The Japan Foundation was establised by the Govt. of Japan for the purpose of promoting mutual understanding and friendship through international cultural exchange. The main aim of the library of the Japan Foundation, New Delhi, is to promote Japanese culture, Japanese Language and literature. It's extensive collection covers various sources written in Japanese, english and Hindi Languages encompassing Japanese literature books, Japanese language books, books on international relations, politics, science, economy, as well as the latest Japanese magazines and newspapers. Offering the myriad materials, we wish to enhace the cultural exchange between India and Japan, and wish our users to acquire knowledge on Japan.
